Uplift Community High School utilizes standard Chicago Public School graduation requirements. In order to graduate, students need to earn 24 credits by the end of their senior year (.5 credits=1 semester), consisting of:

MATHEMATICS

1 credit algebra, 1 credit geometry, 1 credit advanced algebra/trigonometry

SOCIAL SCIENCE

1 credit world studies, 1 credit US History, .5 credit civics, .5 credit any other social science
|
COMPUTER SCIENCE
|
1 credit of Exploring Computer Science
|
FINE ARTS
|
2 credits of any fine arts (music, visual arts, drama, etc)

WORLD LANGUAGE
|
2 credits of any foreign language
|
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
|
1 credit PE 1/Health, 1 credit PE 2/Driver’s Education

CAREER EDUCATION

NON-CREDIT REQUIREMENTS
|
Must pass Health Education, Driver’s Education, & Public Law 195 exam. Must complete a course with consumer education integration and two in-class service learning projects. Must take the SAT.
